Downloaded another program called "Burnaware", and had success with a very quick burning process. Bought some new CD'rs (Princo) and it is not working now. Anyone have same experience with these CD's?

Downloaded the program. I have created a playlist I want to burn. How do I transfer it to the burner?

Having a problem lately with burning CD's. After creating a burn list and click on "start burn", all the songs turn a grey color and get "burning in process" for a few seconds and then it goes back to the same before I clicked on the "start burn" icon. In previous attempts, I changed to the brand of CD and used a "clean up" program with cleaning the lens and it was able to burn, but now these are not working. Anybody have had same problem or how to fix this? Appreciate any feedback.

I went to order a cold cut sandwich there a couple days ago and had been waiting a long time, there was no one else there. I went up to the counter and waited a little bit longer to see what was going on. The cook back there looked like he was cleaning up and instead of asking how much longer it was going to take, I just walked off, about half way to the door of the building, I could hear one of the waiters calling after me. I didn't even turn around, just kept on walking, I was so aggravated. Guess I burned that bridge, but I don't care now. There is another little restaurant that opened up right next to "Pat Services", in the building, and it is very cheap and good food. They even give you free water if you eat there. Not much of a menu selection, and all Thai food, but they are nice people and good service.

Just to add an update to my virus problem. I was getting help from a online support tech. He gave me instructions on how to start with checking stuff with different procedures. Make a long story short, he asked me delete two files with a program called "Avenger". I did and afterwards my machine kept looping the restart mode. I had to call my computer guy to come over and fix the mess finally. He said one of the files was critical for startup and the other was and infected file. I got back to the online guy and he was adamant and seemed offended by what I told him about the one that was the startup file. He said no it was also infected. From now on I will never listen to one of these guys without knowing more about what I am doing.

I am inclined to agree. Interesting though the feedback I get from people who are satisfied with it. In my opinion, they can't be very knowledgeable.

For some reason I am not getting that message anymore and I used it to call my bank in California, no problem.

My friend who backed out on wanting to download Skype, had this to say to me " I'm a bit afraid of their security and the fact that they can access all your computer files once you download their software, No one can listen in except Skype and they can also see everything on your computer." He sent me these links: http://www.securityfocus.com/columnists/357 http://www.panamalaw.org/skype_security_risk.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skype_security If anyone could give me their opinion, I would appreciate it. Also, thanks for the Voipdiscount site, I will certainly check it out.

I am aware of Skype being used by a number of people. What I would like to know is if someone has had any issues of any kind or more importantly the security concerns that are being talked about.

On my last trip I dropped my camera on the floor. It still takes pictures, but takes awhile between shots, but the rest of the functions don't work. I have heard there is a shop in Tukcom that could fix some problems and are fairly reasonable. Anybody have experience?

I have it used it at home (USA). I asked a friend here who lives up in Udon to download it so we can talk and he backed away because of security issues he's afraid of. Since arriving here, when I try to call a number back home, a "Microsoft encountered an error", and two options "Send" and "Don't send". In the past, whenever I got those I would just choose the "Don't send". Any other VOIP's that are comparable?

Does anyone living here use it and if so, had any issues using it?

After I renamed it by going into the program files and right clicking on the icon, I ran a quick scan and it found 17 files infected originally and forgot to save the file. I removed the program and downloaded it again and after I clicked on finish it triggered an error message that read: Setup Unable to execute file C:\programfiles\malwarebytes\anti-malware\mbam.exe Create process failed; Code 5 Access is denied Can you be a little more specific in terms that I can understand on how to do this? Appreciate any help you can give

Joe, I did that already, if you look above here, and it was the free version.

The problem I am having now is changing the data.exe name back to the normal mode. Any suggestions?
-
I was able to uninstall the program and reinstall it with no problems. Everything is working now. Thanks guys for all your info.

What?? I did Joe. I have thoroughly researched this and seemed to have fixed it. I went and changed the name of the Malwarebytes program and was able to run a scan. It found alot of infections. Restarted computer and the error message didn't appear.

I'm running a free version of AVG 9.0 and when I try to update and it tries to install, it comes back the operation failed. Appreciate any feedback, thanks.
-
I checked this out already. They want you to buy the tool.
-
Yes I did try it in safe mode and got the same result. I had a virus a couple months back and had a computer guy come over and one of the things he did was go and rename .exe to something else and he was able to run it. Do you know how to do that?
-
After starting up I get an error message that says: RUNDLL, error loading c:\documents, the specified module could not be found. Anybody had this problem before and can tell me how they fixed it?
-
Very funny and very true. I grew up in the late '50's and '60's, and didn't realize how good things until I had something to compare it with. What annoys me most is all the PC crap we have today and the media not doing there job of reporting without their bias.

You really need to post photos here, without knowing the local it's like going somewhere and having someone tell you about the place and you being blindfolded.
