I come to the forum here to peruse interesting and informative topics, and occasionally ask questions. You on the other hand seem to enjoy bloviating and don't appear to have much of a life outside of it, which is quite apparent here. You take yourself way too seriously, you have issues and this is nothing new as it dates back a couple of years. If you don't like answering in a civil way, move on and ignore.

I returned mine, really disappointed with it. The best advice I was given is to move to BKK, go to a specific school there within walking distance to really learn it the proper way. I believe it takes practice speaking with others living there. Other than that, for just having fun and learning basic stuff in Pattaya, I just wrote it down on a notepad as to how it sounded to me in English. Of course as with any language pronunciation is very important and in Thai the tones are most essential. As with anything else, if you really want to learn to speak the language you have to be determined. I think alot of guys living there where English is widely spoken, there is no real desire to want to learn. Practicing with a Thai girl is fun if you find the right one.

While I was in Pattaya this last trip and now just today I am getting this error message. It reads "Microsoft has encountered a problem and needs to shut down". Has anyone had this problem? and if so, how was it resolved.

He's got Windows Vista. I asked him this morning if he had a boot disc and he said no and wasn't given one when he bought the computer at Best Buy here.

My son has a problem when he starts his computer now. It keeps "looping", will start, shut down and then restart again. Can anyone give me any feedback? Appreciate any info on this.

If you are looking for a condo for no more than 10,000 a month, sounds like you are on a budget and from what I saw on my last trip, June-August of this year, the ones I saw for that price were very spartan and small. I would try and find a house to rent possibly as they are around, there was one offered to me around 15,000, another for less from another guy I met there, who I trust. You need to find someone who lives there and not a rental agency. I would come and rent something in that range initially on a month to month basis and then meet some people and look around. Some of the guys I met were fellow veterans. There are a few Americans living there who could help you. One guy I met owns a bar off 2nd road in Pattaya called "Coops Bar". If you would like to PM me I could give you more details.

I have rented from "Dancewatcher" on two trips and he is very trustworthy. I went and looked on the earlier post about his site also here. He does photo shoots of different girls, one was from the Devils Den. They have nothing to do with the rental of the condos and is simply and addition to his website that is of interest to anyone who visits there. As far as one reply from a BM there about a hotel being cheaper, that is simply not true, especially if you are staying for a month. Do the math.

Awhile ago I had 1Gb chip put in (actually 992Mb with the balance being used by the video card I believe) and what a difference in speed I have now.

Lol, I smoke very rarely, but it is ridiculous to ban smoking in bars, least of all Pattaya. Just go outside and breathe all the smoke from trucks etc. Just because you don't like the smell, it is no reason for you to force your own opinion on everyone who enjoys smoking. It's a personal thing and one of the few liberties we have left. Btw, there are many places in Pattaya you can go to drink, if you don't like one place, go to another. Who are you to tell anyone they can't smoke in a bar?

If you don't like the smoking in the bars, don't go. You might try an ice cream parlor.

These sites generally give prices for economy, don't they? I never fly in that class. From LAX, there is just not enough room for me.

Since most of the 7-11's were out of the brand I last had success with, called "Easywrite", I am going to Tukcom to find anything other than "Princo". See how that turns out.
