Sounds like your LG LCD is OLD. My Sharp 32" is only a 720p & looks as good as my computer monitor.

The 20v difference will make no never mind. In some parts of LOS I've seen the power get down to about 170-180v during prime cooking/showering hours in the evening & the 220v appliances still work.

If you're looking for anything bigger than 17 or 19" you might as well get a 26" or bigger LCD/LED/Plasma TV You can get a 32" LCD TV with a great picture for about $450 A LCD monitor of only 24" costs about twice as much & if you have an HDMI port on your computer, you're even better off since it will give you video & sound connection to a TV

Aren't you bound to Sprint with that phone though ? That would mean you can't just pop in a SIM if visiting LOS or another country. The Omnia II is quite different. I charged it earlier this week on Monday & it's still got 3 out of 5 bars on the power indicator. Been meaning to ask the Galaxy S users how you get by w/o a flash ? I seriously considered this model & wanted the Android that comes with it, but the no flash bit put me right off it.

Galaxy S has no Flash. I-Phone sold as-is, can't add a memory card, no slot for it.

My WinMo phone has been operating for a week w/o needing a recharge. Given it's only been on standby except for getting a voicemail & couple of missed calls. The Android groupies are almost as bad as the Apple groupies IMHO.
