OK, after something like 25 plus years toing and froing to Thailand, and the Far East in general, i finally decided last year (or was it the year before?) to make a move on a permanent (well, as permanent as can be in Thailand) move out to Thailand. Plan is to setlle about 30 minutes drive East of Pattaya (To me, Pattaya is OK for a week or two, but then the cracks start to show and i get itchy feet) The one thing that concerns me is the lack of a phoneline availible in my chosen abode/village, and, therefore lack of internet. TOT DID put in 100 lines a while back, but were all snapped up, and their plans aren't to put any more in anytime soon. So it looks like i will have to turn to some other method to get "webbed up" Anyone know what alternatives there are? I know there are some "dongles" that allow basic usage, but with pitiful speeds All info gratefully recieved Malc
