Air Show Draws Boeing 787, Nearly 200 Orders The 2010 Farnborough Air Show in England got off to a big start as the Boeing(BA) 787 made its international debut landing on Sunday, and the aircraft orders came in faster than expected on Monday. "I can't think of a finer stage on which to present this highly anticipated airplane," said Scott Fancher, vice president and general manager of the 787 program. Airbus and Boeing announced 189 orders on the first day, more than twice the total orders at last year's show. "I don't think people thought it would be that high, certainly not on day one," s -

Obviously, your command/comprehension of the English language is lacking as the posts are dissimilar in nature, one from an Airbust fan and Boeing's rebuttal. indeed. Remember to take your meds EVERY day. -

Changed my arrival date and I'm arriving at Narita from DTW instead,so that means a NW 747-400 relic instead of the 777LR. Crap............. -

And,once again, the 2 posts I referenced were not similar at all.In fact, the 1st is from an Airbust fan and the 2nd from Boeing-so nothing in common. So feel free to edit other member's posts as you've done in the past to make yourself appear correct. -

I am trying to figure out your post as it makes NO sense. Post 1926: Boeing 787 Dreamliner delivery could be delayed again Boeing has cautioned that the delivery of its new 787 Dreamliner could slip into next year, rather than the end of this year, as planned. The company told the BBC it still plans to deliver the aircraft this year, but this "could flip into next year". Japan's All Nippon Airways will take the first delivery of a Dreamliner aircraft. The project has already been delayed for more than two years, following a series of hitches. My Post 1941: Slow down,Airbust -

"I don't like the layout - it's done to squeeze another two seats into the front section of a 777-200LR (26 v 24 in a standard layout). It's the reason that I choose Qatar over Etihad." What is it with you and that head-patting icon? So I'll ask again since you gave a 1 word response without an explanation, what are the reasonS? indeed -

bigdelta replied to bigdelta's topic in Airline Discussion
CT,sounds like that's the sole reason you chose one over the other,correct,2 fewer seats in the front cabin? On my return segment on Nov 1,I am flying to LAX instead,so I get to fly in one of the NW 747-400s.I flew that acft from Narita to Atlanta last May,before the NW/Delta merger was finished.Hopefully Delta has upgraded/standardized the Business cabin. But I still like the interior spaciousness of the 747. -

Slow down,Airbust clowns: AIRSHOW-Boeing reaffirms latest 787 guidance England, July 17 (Reuters) - Boeing (BA.N) said its chief executive had not altered the latest delivery guidance on the 787 Dreamliner after a newspaper said he had expressed confidence in delivering the plane by end-year, as planned. Boeing last week said deliveries could slip into 2011 but that no decision had been taken. [iD:nN15224632] In a summary of an interview given to European Sunday newspapers by Boeing CEO Jim McNerney, released on Saturday, Germany's Welt am Sonntagsaid: "The Boeing chief was also confident th -

Now it's Brazil's turn to get ready for the World Cup

SAO PAULO -- South Africa successfully hosted the World Cup. Now the focus and pressure is on Brazil. The 2010 World Cup went off without any major problems despite fears that South Africa would not be able to cope. Brazil will also have to prove it can overcome challenges to host soccer's biggest showcase in four years. And it will be a hard task for Latin America's biggest nation. FIFA has already heavily criticized Brazil's preparations for the 2014 tournament, saying the country is behind schedule on several fronts, including stadium renovation and infrastructure. Even Bra

After seeing nonstop coverage on ESPN today,I didn't know he was a football coach and that football was his first love, even as the owner. Funny story-he was attending the OSU-Mich game and couldn't get a nice room,so be built a hotel and reserved the penthouse so he wouldn't have that problem again.Several anecdotes on TV today-also much charity work in Tampa area w/o folks knowing where it came from.

I've only been using them for 2 years but only once have I had an issue with the website, which was during their gradual site upgrade. Somthing Big-Airbust is giving them an A380 to shuttle Brits back and forth to Patts!

If only he could hit like that when it counts-during the season. On a sad note, the best owner in baseball passed away this morning,George Steinbrenner. Yankees & Dodgers in series.
