I have been told the same about the Sattahip hospital, is it the one in the Naval grounds? I was told that many of the doctors from BP Hospital also operate and attend there, but one of our members has had a rather poor experience from them at BP. I had an MRI for a severe back condition and they wanted to operate on my disc. I sent the MRI back to my orthopaedic surgeon in Aussie (regarded as a gun here) he told me it was the worst one he ever saw and no one could do a proper diagnoses on the basis of that MRI . I came back to Aussie for my back surgery. I think medical attention is a bit of a lottery in Thailand, but am not sure it is much better anywhere else in the world these days. Can anyone give me a leg up to medical insurance in Thailand, will be coming to retire there next week and my only real concern is decent medical cover, just want hospital and none of all the other crap.

On the question of condoms, where do we get ones that don't cut you in half?
