  1. Hi FS Just a quick question, is your marriage certificate in thai & then you got a certified translation to english. If so where did you have the translation done. Cheers Mark
  2. I am planning on driving to Hull as I do not trust the post at the moment. It would be a nightmare to have your passport lost in the back log. Just checked on the Sat nav & it is a 200 mile round trip, cost about £25 in petrol, better safe than sorry though.
  3. I read on another forum that GSB (Government Savings Bank) is still not charging the 150 baht. They stated that it is because they are not members of the Thai Banking Association. All I need now is to know where the GSB branches are in Pattaya.
  4. Just got the following email from netflights.com £405 rt. You have 14 days left for this offer. Only certain dates available, easy to check on website. I went through the procedure to book and it came out at £410 Fare: £176.00 Taxes: £232.40 Ins: £2.00 Netflights.com
  5. As per heading, can a Uk bought Sony PS3 be used in Thailand. Can games bought in thailand be used on the UK sourced PS3 when in Thailand. Cheers Mark
  6. Thats amazing £74.00 for the fare. You wonder how they can possibly do this
  7. Used bell travel in January, only 6 people on the 10 am bus. great service no reason to pay 1000bt more for a taxi. Another good reason to use them. If you are new to Pattaya and do not know where your hotel is they will know where to take you.
  8. Thanks for the reply yselmike. Only smoke half that amount. but I reckon it would be about 50 lt with bg
  9. Now that Schipol airport has a ban on smoking in the terminals, I believe that you have to now go outside. If I where to go outside how long on average does it take to go through security and passport control to get back to the gates. I wouldn't want to miss my flight to LOS for the sake of a cigarette. Cheers Mark

  11. Used PJ Scuba last time i went to Pattaya. The airline lost my luggage, so I had a wait for filling out all the forms etc. The driver was still waiting at arrivals. Good driver as well.
  12. I've got a mate who is a dental Technician. I asked him about having Laser treatment done when I visited Pattaya. He said whatever I do, do not have laser whitening done. He recommended the option where you get a cast made of your teeth. You then fill this up with some liquid (Don't no what it is) and put it around your teeth. You either sleep with this in or keep on for a few hours. Hope this helps Cheers Mark
  13. Just got confirmation. Taxi booked with PJ Scuba. So anyone wanting to share, just reply or send me a PM. Cheers Mark
  14. As stated on the bahtbus web site, you can right-click over any map for ZOOM and PRINT functions. I tried this and it printed the map full size on A4 sixe paper. Cheers Mark
  15. When I have used emirates before, I have always gone to the Irish Village. Sink a few pints of the black stuff. The Marhaba service would be useful for the return trip
