  1. As a complete WS novice, can I ask a couple of questions ? 1 . What's the story on the " Hulk " type character ? 2. The 3 girls in the party dresses ..are they just on a night out, or working somewhere ? Sorry if these are dumb q's ..I really enjoyed all the street, bg, and hello girl pics ..these ones got me curious.
  2. My daughter lives in Pattaya, and though her circumstances are different to yours ( a little older , not working ) she does live alone as a single women, in one of the VT condo developments on Jomtien Beach. I visited her for Christmas, and she has a great life, has made quite a few friends, uses the Baht buses to get around ..goes to the markets etc, and other than taking the normal precautions that any young woman ( actually, anybody ) should take, I dont think she feels anymore threatened or less secure, than when she lived on the Gold Coast, Australia.
  3. Thanks guys .. yes true, no need to worry about 2xl shirts , plenty around, but as a point of interest , I was at Putunam markets ( spelling ? ) Bangkok yesterday, and there were 2 shops in the back section selling mens clothes up to 8 and 10 XL ... for the really " big guys " !
  4. Im about to fly to Thailand to spend Christmas with my daughter in Pattaya .. she has just advised me to bring a " nice " shirt, as we are having xmas lunch at the Sheraton .. Trouble is, I have recently dropped 23 kilo's, and my 4XL shirts look like tents on me ... still gonna need a 2XL I reckon. As I have never been there, I'm not familiar with what is available . I' ll be in BAngkok 22nd and 23rd .. then Pattaya 24th on. Im sitting at Cebu airport now, so no chance of getting one here .. Actually I would be interested in any big guys size clothes.,as not much choice here in Cebu. THanks
  5. Thanks for the updates, there has been some talk on Phil, forums about this, and as I am booked to arrive ( first trip ) on Dec 22, I was a little concerned ,, but not cancelling. Cheers
  6. Yeah Leyte and SAmar seem to be the most likely ..all battened down here in Cebu, and its raining heaps ...spare a thought for those poor bugga's on Bohol, many still homeless from earthquake.
