O.K this may solve it. Thai told me the direct flight is still on. The planes used for this will be the planes that do the AKL to Brisbane route. These are the ones with the seats 2-5-2 arrangement. I didn't ask what the plane is. No mention was made of different days now doing different routes. Surely they cant change your iteniary once you have the ticket can they? Otherwise I will need to inform taxi,hotel, etc and check in about the changes.

And do you know when this is to start? I am on a Thursday direct flight. Thai mentioned the change in plane but promised that it was still a direct flight. Travel is at end of July. Also was told the seating was 2-5-2, which I have never been on before so Im not sure if they are the same plane. On a side note, seems a few Kiwis are now posting. Any JAFAS posting? I would like to add my support for Khrong Fa. Have used them on 8 different occasions and never with a problem. Infact last year my plane got to Australia and then packed up so we had to wait for 2 days for it to be mended. I had no way of telling Khrong Fa as I didnt have their number. Anyway get to Bkk some 36 hours late and heh the driver is waiting for me. I was not required to pay any extra for the wasted trip he had previously made. Seems simple to me if you book a taxi then use the taxi or be prepared to pay compensation. Longy

Emil, your earlier post states a monthly rate equates to roughly the daily rate times 10. Have you any definite hotels that offer this? In my experience it equates to the daily rate times 15 or 20. Any help with this would be appreciated as im in town next month. Thanks Longy

Fonz Hi when I saw $699 I nearly fell off my chair. All work was put on hold and I phoned around to jump on board. Problem though, where did you get your info? I phoned not only flight centre and holiday shoppe but also phoned Thai airways direct, nobody but nobody had heard of this deal. If you hve booked or know where I can obtain this price then please advise. Im not saying you are wrong but nobody will confirm. Also the Emirates price doesnt include taxes and they charge close to $100 more than Thai do so its not such a great price. Longy

Wow that $890 flight with zuji is a fantastic deal. I always knew they discounted but wasnt sure it was that much. How easy was it to make a booking with them? I may use them next time. I booked direct with thai as they had given me a voucher for $200 off my next flight because of a poor flight last time. This meant my ticket cost $799. Have booked for 28/7/05 for 6 weeks, any other kiwis in town then? Longy

thanks emil. I stayed in soi Lenkee in Oct of last year so im thinking it could be the next soi along. They were building on that corner then. Think thats where Lolitas the bj bar is. Ive now had a lot more time to use the search engine and discovered that Dang Appartments by soi 6 was relatively good value but with no pool. Has anyone stayed there snd have any recent experiences? Hi guys hopeing someone can help I usually do 2 hols of 3 and 4 weeks per year. The boss has told me can only go the once but can do a 6 weeker. Late April has been booked but where to stay? Now financially i will have to be a wee bit tighter this trip as it has been kind of forced earlier on me. Can anyone help me out with an appartment which would be about 10000 - 15000 per month. is this Palm Villa on 2nd Road, opp entrance to soi post office? If so there is no website. Please do yourself a favour dont stay there. At 500bht a night IMO the apex is a palace and lets be honest the apex is a dump. After looking thru the reviews i plumped for the Palm Villa intending on staying for 4 weeks. I would have stayed for about 10 hours and that was enough. Moved onto JP Court on soi Lengkee which was 1000% better for 50 extra bht a night. 3 min walk to 2nd Road and Mikes shopping mall.

Hi All Am hopeing somebody can help, for the life of me i cant find any info on this place in soi 4. I f anyone has any up to date info, prices, or even is it still there (as i know they were building a new hotel down that soi), can you pls post a reply. An email address would be fantastic. Thanks All If no news can anyone recommend a hotel between 600 & 700 bht per night. I am not too keen on soi 7 an 8 just too noisy for me. Was considering Palm Villa but would prefer soi 4 where it is away from the bars.
