FREE BEER night and a free BAR FINE
LocalYokul replied to alan lad's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
ok, I guess I will be one more selfish guys who posts that : it's the day that I will be heading out of Pattaya, at noon :-{ -
well, when we can get streaming video at DVD or better quality, all over the World, then the possibility of distributing media that way would be more attractive most likely it will get developed as such in the West first as there are many hi-speed connections available

THE 5 BEST THINGS ABOUT PATTAYA
LocalYokul replied to ivorbiggin's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
1. I can ride a rented motorcycle to my death, at a very high speed 2. all the lasses fancy me (they almost all call me hansum man) 3. i can walk down the street with a large bottle hieny in my hand in broad daylight and no one seems to notice 4. the pristine clean water (err, at least on Koh Lahn) 5. if I get drunkenly beligerant in the evening, then I am just like everyone else and no one seems to notice -
wac, go and see it, it's worth it I guess you can just sit there and eat and eat, and watch Pattaya go round and round
-
the revolving rest. at the top of Pattaya Park is still alive and kickin' the food was ok, if you stuck with the Sushi and used lots of Wasabi the point for being there was the view, but yeah, it wasn't really worth the cost of admission got some great pix from up there, and also on the cable car ride down

have you guys tried marine seafood ? it's one the non-beach side of the road, back a little from Walk. St. I find their pricing to be good and you can choose your victim right there in the tanks
-
that first seafood rest. on Walk. St. sucks IMHO, but the ones at the far end are ok tequila reef & blue parrot, I'd pass Burger King in PAttaya is the shit man open 24/7 and they even serve breakfast the McDonald's up here are open early, but no breakfast menu even the ones on the motorway to BKK from PAttaya open at 7am , but still no breakfast menu
-
you didn't like New Orleans restaurant , but went there 4 times ?? 555 hmm, in Pattaya, over-rated, those burger stands that say "probably the best burger in Pattaya" or something like that I've had a better burger out front of NEP at 8pm almost any pizza maker in PAtts just plains sucks I do like PAt's Pies cum to think of it, I dont' eat much when in Pattaya, it's just beer and pussy that I am interested in, more so the pussy marine seafood is always nice vianjun rest. down the end of walking st. along with nahn nuan seafood are nice places to take a

just go to Nong Khai or Udorn for the weekends or Mongkol hotel during weeknights

there's the answer, move into the mountains of Northern Thailand

I have been to Pattaya for both xMas and NYE, and I won't do it again barfines are raised to stop clientele from barfining the gals too early and some just have a policy of NO LT the only sensible place was Soi 6, nothing changed there now, New Year's Day was a diff. story, but that's because I met with mates on that day, and they also said they'd never do NYE in Pattaya, just a waste, better to stay at home, or have dinner in a decent restaurant and be home in bed by midnite, 555

not sure if TGs need a visa, but they do need a passport, unlike Laos and Malay my opinion of the Cambo border is that it STINKS. I never got hassled at Vientiane or Padang Bazar, but I dure did by the Cambo fuckers when I went there on my own they have no receipt for the fuckin' Cambo visa, and I got really fed up with the begging children and the guys insisting they "help you" get a visa , or help you to get laid, etc.
-
if you don't have a photograph , the visa to Cambo costs 1,100b and you don't have to pay the tea money if you just walk into the casino, have lunch and come back out, that easy or if you don't need lunch, just walk around in the little market there where they have perfume and FAKE (really fake) viagra pills and Ponge Nahm Rawn isn't near Juntaburi, it's IN the province of Juntaburi I didn't think it was that easy to find, but the last time I went the road was AFU and under construction IMHO, if you really want to do the run on your own, either take someone who's been there
-
sure you can go on your own, but do you know the way ? Ponge Nahm Rawn is not easy to find IMHO and the fuel to get there and back, buy the visa to Cambo (1k Baht) will cost more than the 2k the companies are doing it for.
-
Ponge Nahm Rawn, Juntaburi much less crowded, and easy to get to
-
yes, 2k is the rate, which includes the visa to Cambo, and the lunch at the casino there's a travel company on the corner of 2nd and South Pattaya road that is ok I think the name is C.T. Travel

2am BKK arrival, stay in BKK or PTY?
LocalYokul replied to sick_puppy's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
I just did this last night, got a flight in , and it was too late to catch the bus, so I shacked up with a GIK at Silver$ in Washington Square (in BKK, Suk. Soi22) after she left at about 1am, I shagged a couple of real hotties from over in Queen's Park complex and then caught another flight this morning, 555 and yes, I am knackered -
you better believe it it's not all fun and games people don't realize that there's plenty of real life drama in LOS, and not a 24/7 party like some of the tourists in Pattaya would prefer to believe

Non-Immigrant B visa to apply for Work Permit,
LocalYokul replied to LocalYokul's topic in Expat Issues
I hope you don't carry yours around everywhere you go, 555 and sometimes the embassies actually tell you to mail your pPort to them A guy I know did it to get his visa to Vietnam, mailed his pPort to BKK I called the Thai Consulate in Vientiane, finally managed to get thru, and they said no letter from Ministry of Labor = NO Non-Imm B visa Saigon, Vietnam is looking like the best option, but there is no visa upon arrival for my nationality, but apparently you can get a visa application set up over the internet in 2 days -
Non-Immigrant B visa to apply for Work Permit,
LocalYokul replied to LocalYokul's topic in Expat Issues
they know as well as I that it just depends on the person you are talking to different offices have different rules, and different officers in those offices have different opinions about the rules I went to Immigration, 3 different offices , one time, and got 3 differing stories, go figure [/font -
