    What I used to enjoy is when they tell you that you need document-A. So you spent a while futzing around getting document-A to them, they review some more & tell you that now they need document-Z. It is difficult to get them to review past the requirement of document-A, because they assume you'll just give up.

    Actually, one time I arranged a bar crawl around Pattaya. We started at Beggar's down in Jomtien & hired a song taaw to take us out there & back to town. I can't remember how many of us there were, but I think around 10. Only a few people helped out paying for the song taaw & Big D was the first.

    I'd like to add that using it has some pretty good benefits. When I'd go into Bangkok I used to fill in the date/time on the Bkk Tonite forum & had some real good times meeting up with other board members. I think that's how I met Big D the first time.

    I remember sitting in a bar with some coworkers who were all from the UK. They were saying that American politics didn't affect them. I reminded them that Dick Cheney was one of the highest bosses of Halliburton & that definitely affects our future in Oil & Gas, which is the type of project we were working on. Yes, it was some years ago.
