EU taxpayer is getting tired of funding Airbus's latest 'white elephant'. Airbus had to ditch the program. For a company that's delivered over 5000 airplanes they still have to get out the begging bowl. Now that's sad. So sad.

Premium economy seating on UA is not a big deal. You get 5" extra inches of leg room and that's it. Seat back reclines the same small amount as in regular economy.

Kind of hard for the Airbus A380 fan club to get around the fact that Airbus hasn't come close to reaching the break-even point and Boeing has way surpassed it and is well on the way to making a ton of money on the 787. Seems to me this leaves the A380 sucking wind and fucking the EU taxpayer. Damn two for the price of one.
