Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

  1. I've not been using the mobile theme, but have chosen the full forum , IP.Board. Next time I use the mobile theme, I'll check out out. Is this different behavior than the prior version, or is it something you just noticed about the mobile version?
  2. Some of these "features" might have been dropped in the interests of "simplification". SORRY!
  3. Yeah, some research I did today indicates tapatalk has problems with this version of the forum software.
  4. Using the VIEW NEW CONTENT, in conjunction with selecting one of the choices on the left lower side of the page gives you control over what topics you see. See the image below with the arrows pointing at your various choices for finding topics. I think it's a big step forward if used correctly. If you think a recent topic has "disappeared", click on the "Past 24 hours" or some other time period, and it won't filter out topics you have read. I've been using the "Content I have not read" filter to progressively shorten the list of topics I have yet to read, as I read them. It works great.
  5. Nope, I can't figure it out either.
  6. I've no idea why this was put in the Members Bar, since we have a very nice section for Airline topics. I'll be moving it there.
  7. Not sure. Can you give me a link to the avatar image?
  8. Yes, I'm tweaking it. Remember that the upgrade was done while I was out with a bunch of bar crawlers, and I got home to find out it was done..but was in no condition to make any changes. There are some other changes that will accrue as the days go by. I don't care for the fixed width of the content area, so will be making that all of the screen again, without the useless boundaries. I'm probably going to change the colors a bit as well. The new forum software is very nice at selecting what you want to view on the VIEW NEW CONTENT. I like that an awful lot (referring to the list of choices on the left of the page).
  9. The old skins (now "themes") were not compatible with the new forum software, so using them introduced lots of formatting errors. I'll be updating the themes over the near future. Out of curiosity, which skin were you using before?
  10. Can you be more specific?
  11. In the prior upgrade, they gave you a profile picture and an avatar picture. Perhaps you were using both? This new version only displays and supports avatar pictures. Haven't tried changing the avatar, but I suspect it is still there in your personal controls. It looks like you can LIKE something...not sure if you can DISLIKE something though, so perhaps they have gone PC. Neither of those skins should have been selectable with the new version. As I said earlier, they did the upgrade (without warning) while I was out on a regular bar crawl, so there was a time when the old skins were present, and the new skins were not. Reg the last entry...to the left of the topic description is a clickable icon. Hover your mouse over that and it will say something like "go to first unread post". Click on it, and that's what should happen....or at least the first unread page. See previous reply to Bazle, Re the opening/closing quote tags, that error message has been around for years. You attempted to post something with an unequal number of quote/endquote tags. Very bottom of the page..."Mark Community Read" will do that. Looking into that soon...haven't had my first coffee yet though, so give me a chance. Odd, I made replies with the mobile skin. I don't know. Anyone figured that out yet?
  12. The new themes (skins) for this software version were not enabled after the upgrade. They are now, and the old themes have been removed.
  13. At the bottom of the screen, click on CHANGE THEME. Choose IP.Board if you are running on a PC. Choose IP.Board Mobile if running on a mobile. See if that helps.
  14. I'm not seeing this stuff. What skin (theme) are you using? Invision sneaked the upgrade in on me without warning. I sent then a message asking when they were doing the upgrade, and they sent me a message saying "it's already done". Will straighten things out tomorrow after a nights sleep. Anyway let me know the skin/theme you are seeing this stuff on.
  15. The forum software was upgraded tonight while I was out on a gogo bar crawl. I've not had a chance to get into the details of the upgrade, but it is different. I think it's quite likely it's better as well. Pay close attention to buttons, small link thingies, and the main page side bar. They can help you filter and locate things of interest.
  16. I am confused too, because the first link you posted showed me Thapprasit Road. It's too late to go check it, but it's there in your earlier post. Edit in: it's not that late. I went to your prior post and clicked on it...and voila (or should I say "walla"?), it showed the correct location. I think we should blame it on photoguide doing a system upgrade or something. Yes, that is the right location. And, further, I prefer the one over on Soi Exzyte, and do not like the one in Jomtien at all. But, now, after several years, I seldom give either of them any business. Too many other good choices.
  17. Yes, especially considering not one of them is in what is considered the "eastside". Perhaps Southside crawl would be more appropriate.
  18. You can't say I didn't warn you.
  19. Okay, Gabor, from what I gather, your downfall on your last board was this constant bickering and escalation of arguments into personal attacks that get nastier and nastier. You need to grow some thicker skin and stop biting when you get attacked. I won't have you making this board into a venue for nasty arguments and name-calling. Stick to the Pattaya topics and you'll be fine. And, no, I don't want to get into who started it. You're the focus, catalyst, and center of these spats, so if you are removed (either by yourself or by me) from the equation, there will be no problem. And to the rest of you, give the guy a little space. He's getting worked up, and you know that's not good for anyone. I, and many others, appreciate his on the scene reporting...please don't ruin for the rest of us.
  20. See the notes from the creator of this image http://brainchild.de...-baby-112776614
  21. No, since this summer, there is a McDonald's at the entrance to Soho Square, past soi 16 on the way to Bali Hai. Sounds like Utopia Agogo...just across Soho Square from McDonalds.
  22. Is that a yes? And to bigdelta, I modified my reply here to include a description of how to get to Sam's Mexican, as well as a map reference.
  23. Good itinerary...but shouldn't you call it "westside"? Eastside usually refers to the darkside, or east of Sukhimvit.
  24. Are there still road works and construction in front of the Continental?
  25. It's really not on that same street at all, and few would find it without a map or clear directions. But, I agree, Sam's has very good Tex Mex cuisine. Edit in: pattayaphotopages is very out of date, at least 3 years old, I think, but the geography of the streets is generally the same. Sam's Mexican is down a side soi off of Thappraya heading towards the beach. Here is a picture of what I believe is the soi, before the whole area, shown under construction, has been built up and changed visually so that you wouldn't recognize it by this picture. http://www.pattayaph...DmRUzmmkcbC6CAA Go down this soi, and turn left. There is a long block of shops, restaurants and massage places running parallel to Thappraya. Sam's is the first on your left.
