Last week, I was in BKK, Soi Cowboy, and the police closed the bars at 1am. We went down to Nana, and it was closed too. Then to Insomnia and it was closed too. Word was, they had closed all the late night places by 1-3am. Tonight, there was a police closure of the bars/gogos and discos at 3am. I heard second hand that they will be enforcing a 2:30am closure as of tomorrow. My theory is this is because of the public reaction to the topless dancing girls at Silom during Songkran. Were any other areas affected? Sois 7/8, LK Metro etc, by this early closure?
