Hi jack, The choice is absolutely enormous given your budget. I have been using the Sabai Lodghe for years but I think it is now expensive, however you could get a deal there with that budget! No sweat. I would recomend a room by the dolphin pool. Large rooms, nice pool out front, gir friendly, cheap food, beer, good security etc! Good Luck.

Gooday, K, I have flown with several different airlaines from the Uk to BKk and have views on most. I generally travel in Business or First, but have tried some of the in-between classes and economy (only once though, its just too goddamn far not to be able to stretch out!) Eva- evergreen deluxe- about £600 if booked in advance. Exceptional value with an old fashione type of business class seat and 38 inches of pitch (pitch, on an aircraft seat is measured from where your ass connects with the seat to the same place on the seat in front.) They have little personal screens and the food is ok. The seat has a foot rest and calf support and can be reclined quite nicely. this is usually the best value option available if you an live with 38" pitch and no Business class frills! Emirates Business class via Dubai. Around £1680 rtn. Seats ok with 50 inch pitch but nothing special. Superb food and drink, sexy air hostesses. Nice lounges more superb food and drink. Upgrade to 1st is £200 per leg witrh a much better seat. Emirates economy Nice seat, 34" pitch good food, good entertainment, same sexy air hostesses- free drink! KLM via Amsterdam (business) £1450 rtn Typically dutch (crap food, efficient cold staff) but seats like beds. ver nice. SAS business (£1398 rtn)OK, good value, good food, ultra modern planes, good connections super lounge in Stockholm. British airways business £2998 rtn If your feeling flush, this service is direct and hard to beat. Nice bed, good food and totty doing the beer runs! Garuda Indonesia £1290 Business May not fly from London anymore? But super size seats, Only 8 in the cabin, top prices, and direct flights. Hello, Having spent many years (more than ten now!) visiting Pattaya, I am in the unfortunate position of having to find different accomodation because the Sabai Lodge has gotten so goddamn expensive nowadays! I have looked at the Sunbeam and the Dynasty Inn and resort but am familiar with neither. Any help with these would be much appreciated. I would like to know the following 1. Quality of room. 2. Quality of staff. 3. Guest friendly or not. 4. Swimming pool info. 5. Noise levels at night (after 2.00am) Thanks!

Pattaya and alone? Ok, when you have arrived and checked in; carry out the following simple excercise to ensure you are not alone- 1. Leave your hotel, stop on side walk. 2. Listen out for music and laughter. 3. Head towards music and laughter. 4. Locate source of music and laughter. 5. Locate bar stool, (always found in immediate vicinity of music and laughter) 6. Sit on bar stool. 7. Order drink from first pretty lady who asks you. ( I would recomend one icy Singha) 8. Begin to drink beer. 9. hello, You all seem to be giving advice about the 'Sabai Lodge' not the Sabai Inn as requested? BTW thats not a flame you are just confused! Sabai Inn is a reasonable hotel but is quite noisy at times if they have work going on. The rooms are clean comfortable and large, the lobby is airconditioned and the place is girl friendly. Sabai Lodge now has ideas above its station. It is quite expensive, I have stayed about 15 times in the last three years, and has now in my opinion got too much. A Dolphin room in February is quoted at 1650 baht. Last august it was 1200baht! I am going to try another hotel. :crying Laters.
