  1. Percy, try checking out the Osteopathic Center Pattaya.
  2. Depending on the treatment, if it's just basic cleaning and filling the local ones are good, but I highly recommend Thantakit Dental Center in Bangkok if you're planning to have a major dental work like dental implants, etc.
  3. Many thanks for sharing. It's great that you've been well taken care of. Bangkok Hospital Pattaya is indeed highly recommended. I won't mind spending more either as long as they are thorough.
  4. Same here. ACH transfers to my Bangkok Bank account. That's right. A tourist visa can be accepted.
  5. Depending on the size, would range from 500-800K for a decently sized pool. You could get your swimming pool supplies from Pool Master Swimming Pool in Thailand. I can personally vouch for this company. Perhaps ask them for rough estimates too. Paying for someone to maintain a pool would only be around 1000-2000 Baht a month.
  6. Nice! Mine is pretty reliable too. Sometimes disconnects but for only a few minutes.
  7. Not recommended and not worth it. Plenty of hotel swimming pools around.
  8. If Pattaya City Hospital doesn't charge for the initial consultation then I'll be giving it a try then.
  9. Local clinics are okay but for major treatments such as dental implants or similar, I recommend that you go to Thantakit Dental in Bangkok. I had a great experience with them. They are quite popular in the field of dental implants and dental holidays and most of their dentists were trained abroad.
  10. Uber is great, so far. Haven't used GrabCar though.
  11. Yup. E-cigs are a far better, healthier option. The flavors are also exciting. Useful for the transition from cigarettes.
  12. Found this while searching for jacuzzi infos. How did it go? So which salt chlorinator did you end up to? I've been using the Emaux salt chlorinator from ThailandPoolShop for 3 years and it's still working perfectly. I personally think that it's best to get your swimming pool items from reliable companies so you spare yourself from the hassle and huge costs. Would be great to hear more about your pool. Cheers.
  13. Plenty of options in Pattaya. You can check LK Metropole or P72 Hotel too.
  14. I'm quite wary to go to just any hospital. Pattaya International Hospital is quite reputable.
  15. Did you already go for it? If so, where in Pattaya as I suggest that you have it done in BKK if you can. I'd like to recommend Thantakit Dental. My buddy had his full mouth reconstruction with them and they offered a payment plan. Free hotel transfers and warranties too. I also had two root canal treatments back in June with them and my experience was positive overall. I feel like any dentist in Pattaya is good for minor cleaning but for a major and serious procedure such as this, best to go to the best. Cheers.
  16. Totally agree with Odense. Book for a shorter stay. Too difficult to commit given those scenarios. Anyway, nice to know that you're moving in. Good luck.
  17. Stumbled upon this thread as I was looking for house build ideas and recommendations here in Pattaya. I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Such a shame that some companies would risk their reputation for using substandard products, which also puts people at risk. I hope that it has been sorted already. If you are in need of a reliable company for swimming pool supplies and equipment, I'd recommend PoolMaster. You can check out their products at their thailandpoolshop website. They're very accommodating and I can personally vouch for the quality of their supplies. Cheers.
  18. Anytime! :) But November to January has the most pleasant weather indeed.
