Just used Mr. Toom´s service from the airport to Pattaya. The guy was at door 6 not 8 as I was told, but no problem, saw my name on the sign. Good service, will be using him for my ride back as well.

Does the gym have an elliptical machine?

When I stayed there the computers had adult sites, (such as this one) blocked. When I asked them to unblock the computers, I was basically told to forget it. I checked out.

Everything at Sabai Wing was great except the AC. No thermostat. So you freeze or sweat.

I stayed at the Eastiny Place...confirm that they charge for more than one guest (went back with a pair of twins and got charged extra). When I arrived they told me: "only one girl Sir and no lady boy please". If you stay there ask for the "b" side .. high floor.

Don't want to seem cynical, but seeing is believing as far as the trip to England goes. I'd say that as an unmarried single mother who likes the $$ we might be seeing her in Pattaya in a couple of years...

I'm booked in the Areka lodge in March. Thanks for the good news...maybe I should change my hotel plans, the last thing I want is to be in a hotel filled with tourist wives and families.

Since I didn't have this excellent info., I made a reservation for the new Majestic Grand which will be opening in March. I usually stay at the Landmark, but couldn't get anything cheaper than around $120 a night since it appears as if there are a bunch of group tours arriving mid-March and they're booked up. I even gave them a phone call....no dice. But the Majestic Grand might turn out to be a surprise....at least it will be new.
