THAI PARTY - GameBird II Bar. 24 Apr (Fri)
melonf replied to rambo's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
I gave Gamebird 2 a try last night and it wasn't a hit with me. A girl followed me in and her opening gambit was 'buy me drink' . I declined saying it was too quick and she was off like a shot. I was left alone to cast my eye over the 2 coyote dancers at the far side of the room. There were hardly any girls in the bar on hostess duties so pretty near nothing going on in the bar to entertain. Draft beer was a reasonable 60 Baht. -

I noticed that Misty's now sells a "Lady Cocktail" at 165 Baht. The old Pattayaland rip off venues have all now changed hands except Kitten Club Classroom, Mistys, Rodeo Girls, Spicy and Popcorn are all now decently run. However for some strange reason to do with neon and newbies the bars in Pattayaland are still more expensive than Walking Street. In addition Wlaking Street wins hands down in terms of nudity and naughtiness. Pattayaland ends up as simply poor value

Insomnia Gentlemen's Club is to be found in Soi Diamond in the venue that was previously Super Model A-GoGo A very impressive first visit. The local builders must have gotten very rich on the number of re-modellings this venue has had this last couple of years. But the current incarnation is the best so far. It achieves a feeling of luxury as conjured up by the name. In fact so much so that I was a little apprehensive of the prices within the useful VIP Menu on each table. But there is nothing whatsoever to fear. The prices are well reasonable with a cheap draft beer and lady drinks at

Thought I would update the Hooty's review in the cold (& sober) light of day A new brighter Hooty's re-opened on November 1st 2007. The bar counter has been shifted to the corridor and there is now comfortable bench seating around 3 walls of the bar. This seating is perhaps a little far from the reduced and lowered central stage but there are now small dance stages in amongst the bench seating. The toilets are a big improvement on the previous versions. There were lots of girls on duty, both dancers and hostesses wearing attractive patterned dresses. As is usually the case for

Sorry Treacle Same old shite as the old Hootys Expensive beer at 115 Baht, no draft.., Not so much as a smile from the unfriendly girls As always Hootys reckons its a top draw when its not The improvements are that there are a lot of girls, there are dancing stations near the bench seating and the toilets are well better. But really the dancers are below average, unfriendly (to me anyway) and the beer price is simply an outrage. Compare that to the new Club Insomnia, the girls were friendly, the drinks prices were reasonable and I had a great time

Popped in last night, the bar is now 50% less good and the girls were 50% less attentive. To sort of counterbalance the girls were wearing twice as many clothes as they did bofore
