I think two rows of stalls have been removed. I suspect a building will be erected on the land being flattened. The current task of the heavy plant unit was to demolish the Runway Street Food sign.

Ready for the weekend music festival event.

This morning around 0730.

It looks as if the Music Festival which is scheduled for next weekend will be a big event. Tents are erected on Beach Road for most of its length and the main stage and lighting control are also erected.

The pavement surface had collapsed under the rear off side wheel of the large heavy goods vehicle. They tried an interim measure to raise the wheel and stabilise the vehicle using the mechanical support legs and were able to raise the vehicle with all its wheels above ground level. They were then trying to put support below the rear off side wheel, however when the wheel was lowered the support just collapsed.
