Does anybody know where Dr Wongsapat Buddhachart has gone? He's done all my work for several years at PIH on Soi 4, but he's now left. Had a very cursory (it seemed to me) examination, clean and polish, from another bloke there but not as thorough by a mile.

Dentists in Pattaya, any recommendation's ?
philler replied to Alfred's topic in Doctors, Dentists, Clinics and Hospitals
Never met Dr Aree but also at PIH is Dr Sornram, who is also very good. Not beautiful, but he's done all my work for the last four years, and I find a big posh hospital reassuring. You can get an appointment in 24 hours and two-stage treatments can usually be done in five days. Recommended. -
Anyone stayed here lately? Looking for somewhere in July, and this looks OK. Would be glad of someone's experience.

I've had plenty of dental work done at Pattaya International, Soi 4, by Dr Sornram Buddhachart. All good stuff at sensible prices compared with UK (and no doubt USA). He put me in touch with implant specialist Dr Kittichote Boonsri, who spoke to me about it without charge. He comes from Bangkok every Sunday. They certainly check the bone structure for suitability - they've just done a "panoramic X-ray" to check out the whole mouth, not just the site of the proposed implant. I've not taken the plunge yet, but I might be back in November for the implant. Cheaper than UK, But still not cheap - a

Mmmm! Very odd. Stayed there twice and never had a problem... -
Stayed at the Queen Vic last November. Decent rooms, especially the best rooms at the top of the house. Vic himself also a source of good advice and information. Good staff as well. Only minor downside is late homecoming up the rear fire escape - not very salubrious... All in all, good value.

2Dave: I had one extraction, two crowns and three fillings, plus scale and polish, x-rays etc etc. Total cost Bt 19.000. At PIH Soi4.

Hi. I found out about PIH from from Steve Seltzer's e-book, "Why Thailand?", which was full of brilliant advice for a newbie like me (as was). I walked into PIH and asked for an appointment. Got one for the next day, with profuse apologies for the delay... Dr Buddhachart was pot luck, but he gave me a full exam and scale and polish, and I came away with a detailed, costed list of the work needed. (Hadn't been to the dentist for 5 years, tut! tut!) That was it for the first trip, and I was wondering when I could get back to LOS to get the work done when my one and only crown broke, so I ha

Dr Buddhachart at PIH has done all my work, including crowns. Bloody excellent!

Just caught up with this string - hope it's not too late to reply. I had my work done by Dr Buddhachart at PIH - one extraction, two crowns, three fillings. All totally excellent. He says his colleague Dr Boonsri is the implant specialist there. Suggest you email them at picpih@loxinfo.co.th
