  4. according to sony the psp games are all 1 region apart from the us version so a japenese or thai game should work in a uk version psp- the good bit is of course i will be takin my psp with me and if the games work i will be buying lots of them to bring bac to the uk
  5. Is the sony PSP for sale over there yet- its out in the uk sept 1st and i will buy a brit version but i was hoping to get a load of games etc for it on my sept visit??
  6. if you want a british guest house type lads place then try www.chaplinspattaya.com he only has bout 7-8 rooms but all the guests are mainly brits and up for a laugh and willie the owner can show you the sights. not a bad alternative to the bigger hotels and there is always a few lads in the bar if u just fancy a few beers to warm u up b4 the nights festivities( and no guest fee) Sparky
  7. i have never seen thais eat lamb to be honest- do they have sheep over there??? only ever seen it on the menu it brit style bars. The kebab stall outside the cherry bar at the top of soi 3 is spot on- i used to get my tgf to go and get them for us after a few beers- off the hook
  8. this is only second hand but a mate of mine raves on about a french restaurant along soi 3 for steaks not sure of its name. will try it out myself in sept and post a review sparky
  9. as the new sony psp is out in the uk 1st sept- i was just wondering how much it is in pattaya to see if its worth buying there an savin my money to spend out there. also if anyone knows how much the games are that would also help any info would be appreciated Sparky!!
  10. got a taxi booked for 19th sept from the BA 0009 flight into BKk eta bout 3.30pm then on to pattaya if any1 wants a share. just let me know sparky
  11. surely its only a mater of (short) time before sumone snaps up the ex KLM/Phuket air slots from gatwick- it would also be nice to keep the old phuket air prices that went with it £299 return would suit me fine sparky
  12. Just booked with BA and got £498 to BKK mid sept never flown with them before( i used to fly with phuket air wile they operated ) is £498 a good price with them? Sparky
  13. just booked with BA for sept and they are only £498. i would rather pay bout £30 extra to go on a newer plane with the better in-flight entertainment and have it direct. Only downfall is you dont get the sexy air hostesses that thai have but can soon make up for that when i land it beats Phuket air anyway that i used on my last visit in the winter- its prob a blessing that they got banned even tho they were cheap as chips. sparky
