    After checking into where to obtain the international permit. For us people that drive on the "right" side of the road in the u.s. It can be obtained neither at dmv or the post office. But at one of our local insurance companies. AAA american automobile association. 10 dll u.s. and 6 dll u.s. for 2 passport size pictures. thanks gents for your input DOORMAN

    The place is nice,cozy,small.I think about 15 rooms. They have a.c. There is a pool.Good food. Nice staff. Close to beach road. But they have outpriced themselves. They now charge 950 baht a night! If you like golf this is the place. There are alot of golfers. Loud. They dont care about the people that stay there. Some of the friends of the gentleman that runs the place are rude. Came close to taking 1 life. They had a party there one evening they shot off fireworks. Now in itself I dont mind. But when it is in a little court. It tends to get real loud. Especially when they shoot off rockets

    The Haven does not have an i.d. check. They have 24 hr security. If you like small and golf this is the place for you. 26 more days later ED

    There is a Harley dealer between Pattaya and Jomtien. Also check out www.tahitianqueen.com mostly an american owned and run establishment. Always harleys (jesters bike club) and I mean lots every night between 1700 and 1900 hrs. 47 days until touchdown Doorman

    Last year I asked a travel agent WHY? does the price go up for June,July,August,September. The reason is it is our high season. That 400 dollar jump made me change which months to go. Touchdown in 50 days. Doorman
