stuarty replied to teelack's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Sunshine soi8 bella vista beetween soi 7 and soi 8 Guesthouse Rosie Ogradys good big cheap rooms Though i was talking to 2 boys in june who were staying in some guesthouse in soi boukhouw 400 baht a night, they said it was fine good aircon half decent size they were happy with it. Cant remember the fuckin name though -
Payed £9 a night at the sunshine soi8 in june think its £10 a night when im over again in sept. Stay 14 nights get 2 free good value imo.You got a breakfast as well for that price i never sampled it though.

8 weeks start counting the days when it gets under 1 month

Try the soi Boukhouw (sp) market think its on a thursday. My mate gets Liverpool and Rangers flags made there to sell back home. Also the indian tailor on soi 8 near coral reef bar will do them for you but there more expencive than the market.

13 of the longest days of my life no doubt

Rosie Ogrady's soi 7 breakfast second to none

Bentley's pool hall on second road near soi9, has 2 good quality dart boards with oche looks the part as well. The house darts werent the best the guy in charge was waiting on heavier darts coming over from uk.That was in jan so he should have them by now . Better with your own darts anyway. There was some crackers working in there as well dont know if ye can barfine them though.

Sunshine soi 8 bella vista soi 7 both right in the middle of the action and within your price range. If pushed i would choose sunshine. -
Its not getting me down mate , ive not booked anything yet just glad ive found this site the info is great. Think i'll just try 2or3 months to start with seeing ive never been before. See how i get on, can always plan a longer trip the next time and i'll know the lie of the land better. Its certainly a lot cheaper than Amsterdam where i currently visit a lot.

Thanks for the advice need to rethink my plans i think either that or get some more overtime in

Aye i'll be swallying at least 4 nights a week mate , a girl most nights as well. No up for mutch sightseeing. Might just go for 3 months see how i get on with that. 6 months does seem a bit daunting.

Hi newbie here, looking for some advice planning on visiting pattaya in november.was thinking of 6 months, bearing in mind ive never been before do ya think that might be too long to start with. Also how mutch spends would be needed for 6 months staying in a half decent room out 4 nights at least, i know everyone's different just looking for a rough idea. A friend who stayed 2 weeks in pattaya reckons 3 grand (pounds) would be plenty but im not so shure. any advice apreciated Congrats on a great site cheers
