Agree with you about CX Hub. I have flown with them a few times Brisbane HK and also Bkk HK and enjoyed the flights. They also have some good specials going in Aus at the moment, fly to HK and then BKK. All our flights to Asia are of a shorter duration than yours so not so uncomfortable. CX flights also give FF points for Qantas FF.

CX economy seats and service are head and shoulders above US carriers, IMO.

Agree 95%, but if your at least premier status on United Airlines and placed in economy plus, you have more legroom than on CX.
