The Mid Town Inn was recommended to me. It's seems to be a nice and clean hotel and not expencive.

Did someone stay there recently, what was you rating?

Thanks

Guido

OK, Ting Tong

The Midtown Inn is on: 373/1 Pratamnak Road, South Pattaya Moo 10

The rate that was mentioned to me was bt400 and I don't think they have a website, can't find one

400bt is very cheap, as long as they have A/C?

Pratamnak Rd. is only close to walking street, I hope this dont put you into the boondocks!

I prefer to stay by soi7,8,9

Some people like the soi 13 area. You ususally cant go wrong as long if you dont go past soi7 to 13. Best to stay on 2nd road to beach road. You will be central with that info.

2nd road turns into pratamnak road by S. Pattaya Rd. you may end up in the boonies?

Ting Tong,

Yes A/C and swimming pool!

But the price made me hesitate also

It's maybe to cheap to be decent?

I thought about The Residence Garden, it seems nice to me, but the fact that it's out of the way puts me off.

I want to be close to the action, mostly because I tend to be bothered by the heat a little more than most people. So, I don't want to have to walk too much.

I want a comfortable, nice and clean hotel.

Which one would you recommend that is central?

I go to the baybreeze, A/C, small pool which I rarely use, electronic room safe, and very nice front desk, and bellman staff, the maid is also trustworthy.

500bt for long stay/off season.

You just have to pick your room, make sure you have 20 or 50 baht notes to pass to the bellman when you see the rooms. I have never seen the 10th floor, but it may be nice too? I am going to try the ocean view rooms. Dont take the first one offered, see at least 3?

I have the email for Phayow the manager if you need it.

There are lots of hotels for cheap and good, just some research will put you into the center of things.

Hi ya Guido,

The Mid Town Inn is on Pratamnak Rd near the VC Hotel, OB Bowl etc. A short distance through the sois from Walking St. It is a small hotel with only two floors and maybe about 30 rooms. The rooms have air con and there is a pool.

i haven't stayed there since the early 80's so I cant help you much. A lot of guys from the Middle East tend to stay in this area.

I walked down there on my last trip and the traffic outside the hotel was pretty bad.

Here is a photo of the place

Mate, as mentioned by Ting Tong, I would stay in Soi 13. Very central and a short walk to either end of the soi where you can get a baht bus to take you where you want.

The good thing about Pattaya is there are plenty of hotels so you have lots of choice.

Cheers

Thanks Bazzap,

Which hotel do you stay in, is it nice? Or which hotel would you recommend on Soi13?

I don't remember from your trip reports if you mentioned the hotel.

I stayed at the Sandy Springs Hotel in Soi 13 for the second week of my July trip.

You can bok through the Scandi Bar. Here is a link

I would suggest booking in advance as this hotel is getting popular.
