Internet access in hotels

which hotel have wireless internet access? also will my laptop be able to connect? If not are there many internet cafe's? :crying

Don't know about hotels but Explorer on South Pattaya Road, between 2nd Road and Beach Road / Walking Street is good.

 

i use their facilities for Bt500 for 500 minutes but you can use laptops for Bt2 per minute, perhaps available on the same deal, I don't know. Speed is ADSL 512

I think Sunny wrote about the Royal Cliff Hotel offereing wireless in the Hotel Lobby and Cafes and broadband in some of the rooms, but all in all there are not many Hotels that offer HiSpeed Connections in the room. Marriott is another one but not wireles though but USB or Ethernet. Do a search, there are more then enough threads on that issue already.

In Aug. when I saw rooms of Bella Villa Prima, staff said it has installed a wireless lan. The wireless PC-card is lent. At the time, hotel guests can use it free as it was the time of test running.
