they look good rooms at a good price.you pay extra for electric but this should not be that much providing they dont rip you off on what you pay per unit.did you pay full month or deposit only?like you say all the rooms look good on websites some pictures are very old.but i think this is a new establishment or just had a refurb. :banghead

Seems a hell of a long way out in the sticks. I'll admist that the rooms look good but I don't think their rates, either daily or monthly, accurately reflect the distance it is from the action.

I've not been in the place but a TG friend lives opposite and I can confirm that it has been recently renovated.

BTW the food court on the ground floor of Carrefour on Pattaya Klang opposite Soi Arunothai is excellent and amazingly cheap. You have to get a card from the booth which you top-up with cash to buy food at the stalls.

The road across Pataya Klang is Soi Yume near the North end of which is the Lukdod Shop the best place for cheap and naff souvenirs and is especially good for sunglasses.

I'm renting a townhouse near Shaggies and stayed there a couple of nights when the water pump at my place died one weekend :chogdee The room I was in the OK category. Just your generic hotel room. Everything worked - nothing memorable

Torrenova points to the one major drawback and that is its location. It's a long 5 minute walk down a very busy narrow soi from Pattaya Klang. On coming traffic has to slow and sometimes stop to pass. Most of that distance has no sidewalks/footpaths and there's usually lots of traffic and especially lots of motor cycles. You'll feel like a target on your way to Pattaya Klang.

If you're ok with moto-taxis there are plenty of those around to take you to Pattaya Klang for a baht bus or further depending on how fearless you're feeling  A baht bus from the entertainment district for your late evening return :nod
