living in pattaya

i hope that some of the members of this site actually live in pattaya because i am planning on moving there next year, one big problem, can't find any condo's ( a total waste of time) or houses that allow dogs as pets, i refuse to buy a house just so i can have my dog live with me, no jokes guys but does any one have any idea's for this situation

There are alot of houses where you can rent houses that allow dogs. I've lived on a certain village for 3 years now in sth pattaya and although i've bought a house now all my previous houses before were rented and i have 3 dogs.

i visited a condo my friend was renting in pattaya ( eddie the dog ) and he was baby sitting a condo for a belgian woman who was away who had a poodle and a monkey.

akita is what i have, the heat was a concern for me at first but i'm an early riser and the pooch and me would be up at 5 am and getting all the exercise we need by 8 am then it's indoor activities after that, we can always go out at night

Not to get too far off-topic here, but I'm also in the US with similar aspirations. What kind of visa are you pursuing, and what's going to be your employment situation once you get there? Or are you one of the lucky ones who's retiring to Thailand?

Beware Dogs get stolen in Pattaya. Keep a good eye on your pet.

 

I don't know where they end up but I still don't eat from the street food carts.
