No, the safes are behind the front desk. Their new hotel, The Lord Nelson supposedly has inroom safes.

There is a safe in the room and you have a key for it, but Bert really wants you to use the ones behind the bar, for the your security

Hi.

I stayed at Q.V. July and August this year. They have taken out the safes in the rooms,which you had to have a key for, and you have to use the ones behind the bar.

Have stayed at the Q.V. for the past three years and have booked for 6 months next year and would recomend it.
