Bay Breeze or Lek?

Hi all.,

 

First of all I would like to thank everyone for the Soi13 updates. I have been staying at hotels in Soi13 for the last five years for obvious reasons (it is central to everything, close to ATM's and currency exchange booths ...)

 

However after reading about the noise due to the construction going on in Soi13 I made a reservation to stay at the Bay Breeze hotel. I also have a reservation at the Lek hotel for early January.

 

I have read the reviews for both hotels and both seem to be great and meet all my needs (most important being the in-room safe). For those that have stayed at both hotels, I was wondering if you could let me know which you preferred. The room that I have reserved at the Lek is a standard room in the new wing. As such it is subject to all the noise from the construction at the Condotel (next to the Dynasty Inn).

 

If there are any members staying at hotels in Soi13, I would be most grateful if you could provide an update on the noise levels due to the various construction projects.

I never been to the Lek, Baybreeze always has been a nice place for me to stay, usually a month at a time. Love the safe in the room.

Yeah gotta agree Bay Breeze is my choice.

 

Lex is in nice location but for the quality and price Bay Breeze is better.

I think a nicer room @ Baybreeze is the same price for a normal room @ Lek, so I would go Baybreeze
