The Pool at the Lek is very nice, and the 95B Breakfast is pretty good. Rooms in the Old wing are 750 and quite comfortable, if less than luxurious. The New wing has nicer rooms for 1200-1500B. The Lek is pretty well located, easy Baht Bus ride to either Walking St. or Pattaya North. It is TG friendly.

I am partial to the Sabai Lodge on Soi 2. It has three beautiful pools. It's usually more expensive than the Lek. However, when I booked a room for March, I was quoted a price for a poolside room aout 300B lower than the rate published on the website. Maybe they're having a sale? Almost any hotel will have ups and downs. I like SL because its close to the soapies. It's still an easy ride to Walking st., although farther than the Lek.

Hope this helps.

Go for a room in the new wing at the Sunshine Hotel. Maybe a little more expensive than the others, but very fine nice rooms, worth the money.

Location is great, as you are in the Central Pattaya Playzone and have an easy and short Bahtbus ride to every other area!
