hotel near british embassy bangkok

i am planning to marry my TG in england in may and i am coming to bangkok on the 30th of this month to fill out the forms etc.. does anyone know of any hotels near the british embassy and rates as i would like to stay as near as possible to the british embassy i have heard there is one over the road if there is i would like to hear about it.

The hotel opposite the Embassy is the Holiday Mansion Hotel and rates are from 1,400 Baht or thereabouts. I don't know if they have a website but a search on google will bring up a host of online booking agencies.

 

Get the skytrain to Ploenchit and walk round the corner from there - taxis have to go round the houses if you are coming from Sukhumvit or the expressway.

The hotel next door is the Nai Lert Park, it used to be the Hilton but now i forget the new name a renaissance or something like that. Not cheap maybe $80 a night i think from last time i was there

or go just up the road a short walk to All Seasons Place and stay at the Conrad... that will impress her and your Bank Manager too LOL

I will be staying in the Holiday Mansion for 3 days next week.

 

It is directly opposite the British Embassy, and like yourself my gf and I will be heading for the Visa section.

 

The rate was 1484 Baht per night for 2 people in a Premier Deluxe room including breakfast.

 

This is where I booked and paid for it. I have used this company several times before with no problems for other hotels.
