Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Beginning May 1, 2005 Thai Air (TG) will begin nonstop service, about 16 hours- on the NYC-Bangkok route. Don't know the departure/arrival times or costs but if you are interested there may be good fares as is usually the case on new routings.

yeah i saw that as well! mind you 16 hours is a bit too long for me! uk to bangkok is long enough! but i saw they had a "new" class on there? economy deluxe? lets hope they extend that to all their planes! (though i dodoubt it , as theyve just been refurbishing their planes!)

If the plane is configured properly, 16 hours is not a big deal. Singapore Air's 18 hour non-stop has plenty of legroom, great food and 60 movies on demand. I suspect Thai Airways will try to pack in more customers.
