anyone got any good tips on hotels in chaweng beach ? planning on doing a few days in june with my regular TG ,somewhere about 1500b - 2000b would be fine ?

I was there last year and she wanted a room away from the action with some privacy. I paid 2,400 Baht, but it was well worth it.

I looked at these Bungalows last month, very nice. They're next to the Imperial Boat House, also very nice.

I've stayed in Chaweng Villa resort a few times, hotels in Samui are more expensive than Pattaya, so for the price you suggest you may be out of the way a bit. Try http://www.koh-samui-hotels.net/ Chawweng Villa is right in the centre of Chaweng and is on the beach, stay away from the wooden bungalows, I find they can smell a bit mouldy, the Garden view are o.K but the De-luxe is nice. Chaweng is the busiest area on the island, nice place
