EASTINY, FLIPPER LODGE or SUNSHINE

Recommended Posts

Based on the replies to my previous post I think I am going to stay in Central Pattaya around 8 Soi. I have narrowed it down to the Eastiny, Sunshine and Flipper Lodge, I am leaning towards the Sunshine. Which would you recommend and why? Thank you for your reply.

Hi i have stayed in all three at some stage sunshine was poor rooms when i stayed there but it has been refurbished since eastiny is very nice, good rooms very clean but i would lean to flipper if you can get a room there or even a suite very friendly hotel and also very clean the reason i would choose this over the eastiny is because the noise from the bars is slightly less but be warned it is a very popular hotel even out of season so if you choose flipper try to book in advance.

Stayed at them also. Flipper was my favorite. Both the one on Soi 7 and 8 are

great, I like the Soi7 one best.

It comes down to two things....

1. If you bring girls back from downtown late at night I'd recommend a hotel near 2nd street like Flipper, so there is less contact with the soi7/8 crowd/crying tilacs who you spent time with in the past.

2. If you value getting to town fastest, and don't care about the walk of shame, I'd stay at the Flipper close to Eastinny.

I have also stayed at Flipper and Eastiny Place, I would go for Eastiny Place, near 2nd Road, staff friendly especially pool staff and certainly no questions asked.

When my wife went back to village I had a lovely lady for 5 nights, the night security staff just smiled even when my wife came back, then I had to ST across from B52

I too have stayed at all 3 (4 if you count both Flippers). I'd be inclined to go with Flipper Lodge, but there's not much in it. Probably a better room at Eastiny, definitely the busiest reception at Sunshine and probably the friendlier staff at Flipper...
