you can get BA business class (flat beds etc) to BKK for £1250 return. Only catch is you have to start your journey from Milan or Rome via LHR (as BA flights are much cheaper ex-Italy) - so you need to add on £30-50 for a no-frills flight out to Italy to connect. I have just booked leaving 22 June - less than £1300 including the connection out to Milan - not cheap, but a fantastic deal for BA bus class which is upwards of £3000 from London.

 

That's the last of my redundancy money gone....need to find a job when i get back, but what the hell - better than squeezing my 6'4 17 stone hulk into cattle class agony.

booked and paid direct through BA.com - just change the country on the top to Italy.

 

Price seems to be going up to around £1500 for travel after 1 July. There are still a few £1250 flights left before then.
