a tatse of thailand juoly 16 and 17 in toronto

Well , here in toronto canada on July 16 and 17 there will be the taste of thailand festival. I went last year and its basically :

 

food from various restaurants in toronto(not free but reasonably priced)

free thai cooking demonstrations

onsite thai massage for $1 per hour

all kinds of displays put on by various people of the thai community in toronto,Thai supermarkets, Thai boxing training and various other things

live enterntainment , music , singing and also loogthung dancing , and thai fashion show

 

The festival is free to enter and is quite fun and helps relieve the pattaya blues while your away.

 

Also many local thai people there . Ive seen the odd teeruk there but not a whole stampede like in pattaya. Mostly normal respectable thai people there.But it is very enjoyable. Very fun.

 

anybody else on the board from canada or anywhere else staying near toronto interested in meeting up down there send me a message. Ill be going both days. Its a nice way to enjoy the weekend when your away from thailand

 

i know there are a number of canadians on the board and it would be nice to meet up as we have our common interests
