Twice in a 2 week holiday in pattaya I had 2 different russian woman try to bud in front of me in line at the money changer by throwing american cash on the counter impatiently expecting the lady to drop my travellers cheques and stop processing them , when the thai lady ignored the russians money and kept procescing my travellers cheques both times the russian ladies took their cash back and headed to another money changer as if their in some kind of rush i just dont understand that rude kind of behavior . Normally at the money changer people act in a civilized way by waiting in line for your turn , I got the impression they thought their US Bills should be given top priority over anything else

What is the difference between standard wing B and superior Wing B , i look at the pics on their website , both have a balcony, is the balcony bigger on the superior? Is the room bigger? I was looking for a bigger spacier room and bigger balcony is better for me. Also what about superior room wing C, does it have a balcony also? I cant find many pictures online other than from their website which is limited in photos. Does anybody have any pics?

That article is a reprint i read that same exact article years ago on the net. So its just a glorified article being used again. I however believe that druggings do a happen in pattaya , nut just not so often. Its rare but theere will always be the odd one. do the nana hotel route. Grab a taxi to nana hotel, metered 200 baht. Stay there a couple a nights and have a wild time, 1100 baht a night(one night in bangkok or 2 LOL) . Then book there daytime minibus for 300 baht nana hotel to the hotel of your choice in pattaya. Party hard at the angel disco or chill at the morning, night beer bar all around the nana hotel. Otherwise if you dont want to go to bkk, expecially at night then just get a taxi to pattaya. They will ask 1600 , you negate it down to 1200-1300, try to find a couple of punters like you to split the fare , check the section on this board that deals with arrivals and splitting taxi fares, find out if anybody is arriving at the same time as you , if not then just walk around the arrivals and yell anybody wanna split a cab to pattaya! you wil be surprised . you might even find a teeruk that awaiting to scoop up her punter thats arriving on your plane. Take a look on your flight that is heading into bkk and see if you can find anyone who is headed to pattaya. Just look at guys who look like punters . With some you can really tell, as many have this look on their face , i cant explain it but you will know when you see a fellow punter.

hell no i wouldnt take any medicines that were not necessary , you will create yourself more problems that you do not currently have. Who cares what the cdc says , who has paid them to say that? Perhaps the manufacturers of this latest drug? The current drugs used for hiv are deadly and have terrible side effects. Personelly i wouldnt worry about HIV unless i was having some of the known symptoms. Perhaps ask your doctor to arrange an HIV test if you feel you had an accident. YOur doctor doesnt want to recommend it because he is not putting his license on the line for something the centres of disease control is pushing . He knows the corruption that happens in the drug industry because he's contstantly getting marketted to prescribe certain drugs by drug companies. I wouldnt bother looking for this drug, you should not take a drug unless you have a problem. Un protected sex does not mean you have HIV. It takes 1000 contacts with an HIV infected person to transmit the virus. So the chances become even slimmer if your sleeping with random hiv and non hiv people and your wear a condom that breaks somewhere in the session. My answer dont even look for that drug because if you get in the habit of taking that drug after an accident , me not even being a doctor can use common sense to to tell you will be having health problems down the road

where is pattaya international hospital? on soi 7?

I have this mole above my left eye. Ive talked about it with my dematologist and he advised its not cancerous. I asked him if he coud surgically remove it and he advised hed rather not get involved in doing it because of its location right above my eye he advised the skin is to tender there and the result would be that my eye might look slanted like an asian person because the skin will move when he removes the mole. He advised me only a real good plastic surgeon can do it and he advised me to go find a good plastic surgeon which mean i will not be able to have it covered under the provincial health insurance plan. I havent looked around but i could imagine it would cost a good buck to get any kind of work done by a plastic surgeon here in canada. Ive always heard some of the best plastic surgeons are in thailand (after all look at the work they do on some lady boys). And ive heard the price is more reasonable. Does anybody know of a good plastic surgeon in thailand who can remove a mole above an eye which is a very careful job and who would have a reasonable price priced amongst thai standards? I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get the job done in thailand as ity may be cheaper and perhaps i could find a talented plastic surgeon there. Or perhaps its a bad idea obviously as i may have less recourse if their are problems. Can anybody advise me on this or knows any plastic surgeons in thailand?

i really admire the owner of that ice cream place in walking street with the bright green sign, what a success that place is.Im assuming its a franchise? 44 is still young but i can see your dilemma, i guess id stick it out for another 5 years to get that 1200 a month. Youll live happy in thailand . The issue is you never know when your health will decline. If you have had some problems already then id say retire now and enjoy your life.

I love watching the world cup soccer. I look forward to it every 4 years. The games are so dramatic. If i was in pattaya during this time, id specifically be looking for beer bars that i could watch games in. More fun than connect4 and close the box.

Bangkok airways flys out of there for slightly more of a cost than airasia. check www.bangkokair.com I flew with bangkok airways out of pattaya airport to ko samui and i booked it online in pattaya 2 days before i flew out. pattaya airport is something to see , its a military base and its very dead no chaos at all , quietest airport ive ever been to, very peaceful . the cool thing is if you return back to the pattaya airport you can get the group bus to pattaya city for for about 100 baht look at the ticket booth on the left side when you are exiting after you pick up your luggage.

my friend trevor is teaching english in nakon sawan. het gets a salary of 30000 baht a month plus he teaches the occasional overtime on evenings and weekends for 500 baht an hour. says he gets girls at the disco freelancers for 300 baht st or 500 lt . hes says he baiscally able to live ok and finance his mongering but of course he will jsut get a lady once or twice a week, not every day

Well , here in toronto canada on July 16 and 17 there will be the taste of thailand festival. I went last year and its basically : food from various restaurants in toronto(not free but reasonably priced) free thai cooking demonstrations onsite thai massage for $1 per hour all kinds of displays put on by various people of the thai community in toronto,Thai supermarkets, Thai boxing training and various other things live enterntainment , music , singing and also loogthung dancing , and thai fashion show The festival is free to enter and is quite fun and helps relieve the pattaya blues while your away. Also many local thai people there . Ive seen the odd teeruk there but not a whole stampede like in pattaya. Mostly normal respectable thai people there.But it is very enjoyable. Very fun. anybody else on the board from canada or anywhere else staying near toronto interested in meeting up down there send me a message. Ill be going both days. Its a nice way to enjoy the weekend when your away from thailand i know there are a number of canadians on the board and it would be nice to meet up as we have our common interests
