serviced apt. & internet advice

Two Americans heading to Bangkok to teach English and would like names of clean, comfortable, well located serviced apartments (photos if you have) that are within walking distance to the Sky Train. Looking to pay no more than $750 a month, but less is better. Should we expect roaches? And what's the best way to deal with using the internet over there? Any other tips are welcome.
