Can I Use CI Lounge ?

I'm flying CI Dub-Ams-Bkk later this month . I've used my miles to upgrade to dynasty class on the outbound leg . Am I allowed access to the CI lounge in Ams ?

 

What facilities are in the lounge ? I have a 4 hour stopover in Ams & it would be nice to relax in comfort .

 

What are the chances of getting a free upgrade to Dynasty on the return leg ?

not sure about an upgrade...but see if you can get exit row seat assigned ahead of time....they normally tell you that it has to be done the day of the flight...but it can be done

Slim and none. Just wondering why would you think you could get a freebe ?

I guess it could happen but I would really be suprised can't hurt to try.

Hi, I always travel abz/ams/bkk. I used my miles to upgrade to dynasty on my in bound flight. On boarding at ams received free upgrade to dynasty without asking. Great and it was there latest new plane.

The lounge in ams is shared with klm just drinks and snacks and a comfartable seat but is busy.

As has been said, the lounge is run by KLM, and is very near the China Airlines usual gate in Pier F.

Heineken, Tortilla Chips, Guacamole and Salsa !!!!!!!!

That's the way to go, but do not eat too much, because you get an enormous meal not that long after departure.

I did the same as you last year, and asked nicely on the way back, the reply at check-in was "only if you would like to pay", I declined politely.

However, the same girl came along to do gate duties, and the first thing she did was to call me to the desk, and gave me a Dynastly Class seat.

Just ask nicely, make sure you have your Dynasty Flyer card, and you never know your luck.

I fly china as well and use the ams klm lounge everytime(with there gold card)there all over the airport i use one of the one's above the casino>there quite strick like dont expect to sign a friend in it wont happen i tortured them to sign one in the on my last trip no chance.

 

There's lots of snacks and heineken on draught enjoy.
