Aggressive vendors ie:tailors

I have read where some of the tailors can be very aggressive about pulling you into their shops.....

This could apply to most any other vendors as well probably.

 

What tactics/suggestions/actions would be useful in telling them "NO THANKS" if that is what a person wants......to let them know in no uncertain terms it's NO THANKS???

It depends what your interpration of Aggressive is,

If its some one trying to get you attention ,

so they have a chance to try and sell you something ,

Well thats going to happen

A no thanks , or just walk on ,

dont take it to heart .

 

The only Tailor that got to me ,

was the one in the Royal Asia Hotel , soi 8 Bangkok ,

He just would not take a no from anyone ,

I dont think there was a guest in the place,

that had not told him to get fucked .

Easy to get them to fuck off. Just give them a wink squeeze their ass and ask them if the suit will make you look as good as them. They'll soon stop paying attention every time you walk past. Wankers.

There are many ways of saying no .

never been dragged into a shop ,

have stayed at the Sunshine ,

cannot say they rip you off as have never made a purchase .

Try saying no in a firm manner

A simple" no thanks" and keep walking always works for me. If you stop and engage them in conversation you'll be there a long time.

I get pissed off by these bastards.

 

One of the most annoying aspects is the way they try and win you over by greeting you with an 'Awite mayte' in a fake Cockney accent and hold their arm outstretched hand pointing down in an attempt at what they think is a 'cool' handshake. They can fuck right off! I'm not a fucking Cockney so don't patronise me with the fake accent....

 

The Thais don't try tactics like this so why do the Indians and Pakistanis?

 

I'm patient with most people but when the same guy sees me walking past his shop every day for a month and still tries his stupid fuckin' sales tactics (after me always saying 'no thanks') then I think it's OK just to blank the git. And... if he is blocking my path deliberately then I think it is OK to keep walking and make him step aside....
