BKK to LONDON Return

Recommended Posts

I need to get a return ticket over here from BKK to London and wondered if anyone knew how I go about getting the cheapest deal. I've looked on the internet but looks pretty pricey and the travel shops in Pattaya seem to be better.

Has anyone got any experience of this and can they help?

Thanks

ps thinking of flying back to London last week October and returning mid to late Dec.

My mate has done this twice when taking his GF back for a holiday this last 2 summers. Both times he used All Seasons Travel on South Pattaya Road opposite Friendship supermarket. I have used them for a trip to Hong Kong they printed out the ticket there & then with no problems.

Prices in Pattaya are not the bargains they used to be but are generally a bit cheaper than from the UK.

You'll strtuggle to find availability in the lower priced classes for travel between 9-24 Dec. There will be better prices to be had either side of this period.

I'm on the 4th glass of wine but can't figure out if you are traveling or a GF.

Sounds like you so be careful unless you have the right Visa.

You will most probably not be allowed to board in the UK when returning to BKK if you can't show them a return ticket.

Happend to me once in UK, and once in NZ or Australia (don't remember). I had to dig out the other ticket to show them.

try arabic airlines, russian, ukrainian - if they don't have any special offers get your ticket from the travel agent. It's worth to shop around.

I do this all the time but only fly direct, usually on Thai.

Buy the Bangkok Post and Pattaya Mail (Fridays) and look in there. Current deals are Bt28,000 plus taxes totally around Bt5000.

Thailand has no yield management for the main airlines but you get the flexibility of a fully changeable 6 month ticket on Thai which would cost a lot more going the other way around.

torrenova, as previous poster mentioned stamboy coud have visa problems if the ticket is for himself. As you show your self as being in Thailand i assume you are on a non immigrant visa? in which case no problem but assuming stamboy is on a tourist visa or 30 day one on entry many airlines will not allow him to check in as he does not have the return or onward ticket required for his type of visa.
