Buying electronic gadgets in Pattaya

I'm coming to Pattaya next week, and am wondering if anybody knows a good place to go shopping for electronic gadgets ?

 

In particular, I'd be looking for one of those mp3-players with a built-in FM-transmitter.

 

Any suggestions ? Carrefour ?

Pattaya more expensive than UK in most electronic items buy on e-bay

If you absolutely want to pay up for electronic gadjets, there is a big center on Pattaya South between Second and Third roads. You can find most stuff there.

I'd be careful buying an electronic device in LOS. Why? The warranty is valid only in the country of purchase. So, if you take it home and problems occur you'll be SOL now that you're out of LOS.

Those mp3 players are quite expensive in Thailand . I bought a 1 GB model on ebay for £70 and I saw exactly the same one in both Bangkok & Pattaya at the same price but it was only a 256 MB model ! Hong Kong & the US seem to be the cheapest places to buy these as that is where most of the Ebay retailers are based . Mine came from a uk based retailer , here's their website -
