Farman,

I have used this airline twice from Milan(MXP) to Accra, Ghana.

I would not recommend using Alitalia because of the following reasons:

1.Often delayed flights

2. Bad/rude staff

3.Poor inflight service and entertainment.

I only use them because of the good price they offer to Africa (cheaper than BA,LH and KL)

Nowadays, I stick with BA or LH even though they are more expensive.

By the way, I didn't know they fly to Bangkok? Is it codeshare with Thai? I know Thai fly to BKK from MXP. However, as far as I know they use old MD11 on this route.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi again Farman!

I just did a search and it seems like AZ is the cheapest option from London during those dates. SQ and BA asked for almost 1000 pounds!!

If price is an issue you should go for them!

Good luck!

Sindre

try dial a flight .com they have flights with Royal jordanian for £450 approx. don,t know what this airline is like but for that price its not bad.I have dealt with dial-a-flight.com before and they are quite reasonable.

I think i have looked at the R.Jordanian flights before and having to wait for connecting flight on the return leg for 12 hours put me right off(plus i have read that the airport is shite)

Thanks anyway mate for taking time to post a reply

  • 2 weeks later...

THE most expensive time of the year. I had those dates held a couple of weeks ago for a friend for £611 return. He dillied and dallied and it was gone.

You can fly from Paris for £677 from the 22nd to the 12th on Singapore Airlines. Crap connection on the SIN outbound though.

If low on cash and just want to get there; Malev from AMS for £502. Good connection times;

Amsterdam Budapest 20 Dec 20:30 22:30 Economy MA 669

Budapest Bangkok 20 Dec 23:10 15:40 +1 Economy MA 80

Bangkok Budapest 10 Jan 00:05 06:30 Economy MA 81

Budapest Amsterdam 10 Jan 07:10 09:15 Economy MA 660

Make a decision and BOOK it. Prices aren't going down.

Is it codeshare with Thai?

I think it's codeshare with China Airlines. I used it a year ago and it was excellent.

Am now looking at 1st jan for my brother. Flights seem to be an awful lot cheaper after christmas.

We have our eyes on a Sri lanken airline flight for just over £500 leaving on the 1st through til 22nd jan.

There seems to be loads of cheap flights in the new year. So for all of you looking to go to thailand over the christmas period maybe it would be wise to wait a few weeks like my brother is and save yourselves £200-£300.

I would say that though as i booked my flight for the 28th december back in August and im not one of the many looking for a cheap ticket for december :P

Thanks for all your replies anyway.

:eyecrazy

ps If anyone spots a flight early december for less than £500 let me know please X
