Travel to Pattaya from Airport

Hope you can assist with this question.

 

I will be arriving at Bangkok airport around 10 pm this Saturday. Are there any buses running at this time from the airport to Bangkok, and then from Bangkok to Pattaya? If not, are there any cheaper alternatives than taxis?

Pretty sure the last bus is at 9pm.

 

No other way to Pattaya other than a taxi, 1200-1500bht.

 

Work out if staying in Bangkok for a night is cheaper.

 

Taxi to Hotel = 350 max

Hotel = 1000-1200 (take off your hotel price in pattaya)

Entertainment = ? but you'd be spending a similar amount in pattaya

Taxi from hotel to bus station = 100 max

Bus = 100

baht bus to hotel in pattaya = 60 max

This is not a Newbie Section, so a small, heart-felt flame is coming your way...You've been a member of this board since August 5, 2005 - about 100 days. Have you been reading at all? This question has been asked/answered a million times. I am new myself and admittedly don't know shit. But I sort of feel you have to "earn" your knowledge with at least a minimal effort. Interesting to see how the other members feel...
