sai tai bus station to pattaya

Question please

Coming from upcountry into sai tai bus station and want to continue on to pattaya.

Can I get an air con :) bus from there to pattaya ..or do I have to go to ekami or another station?

You have to go to Ekamai or Mo Chit. Sai Tai is on the Thonburi side of the river and has no skyway or subway connections so it will be a taxi job I would think.

There are plenty of public Buses to catch from the Sai Tai Mai Terminal if needed (see http://www.bmta.co.th/engversion/eng_version.htm for more info), but the Taxi would be the most convinient way, you could at least take a Taxi to the nearest BTS station which would be either Phaya Thai, National Stadium or Ratchatevi I guess. Sai Tai Mai is not so far from the Prah Pinklao Bridge.

 

The BTS extension to Thonburi (Taksin Road) was finally aproved, actually the stricture if finished already, now they have to build the stations and the tracks.
