Anyone ever done this on EVA

Recommended Posts

Wonder if any of you guys have ever tried this .

I have two trips planned for jan and april .

What i was going to do is to buy in the uk a changable return date ticket on eva ,whilst in thailand purchase the same ticket at a cheaper price .

Then i would change the date on the original ticket for my jan trip to the return date on my april ticket .

Then fly home on the new ticket bought in Los .

Is this fesible or am i making things too complicated.

You can't use the homeward leg before the outward leg but you can do the following:

Buy a ticket for the outward leg of your Jan trip and the homeward leg of your April trip.

Then buy, in LOS, a ticket originating in LOS to fit in with your Jan homeward leg and your April outward leg.

Only really useful if the ticket in LOS is cheaper than the one in the UK. Usually not but the tickets in LOS have great flexibility. Yield management for the major airlines does not exist here as it does in the UK.

Just been gettin some prices from los and eva seem to be coming in around 42k.

Aint really viable ,but a good idea anyway.

Just booked anyway with Trailfinders for the sum of £537! :rotflmao
