Just a couple of points to be aware of about this establishment.

I have recently attempted to reserve a room at this place, which incidently I am familiar with, for a period of one month commencing in April next year.According to their own website the daily rate is 450 bht per day as this they consider to be the low season. However the reply that I recieved was that the rate was now 550 bht per day in the low season,(No mention of high season rate) and for a stay of 29 days a net charge of 15950 bht!!!.This bear in mind is in the Soi LKMetro area in the low season.Plus they were unwilling to grant any type of discount for this length of stay, even for paying cash up front upon arrival, and even reading between the lines in their reply appeared to resent the fact that I had the temerity to even suggest such a thing!

Whilst I have no axe to grind with the owners of this place indeed I think it is quite likely the best establishment to be had in this area however I do resent the mis-information on their web-site (Although they state that this is not their fault as the host has not changed the details) plus their condesending and somewhat belittling language to me in their replies when querying the price and unavalability of a discount.

So guys just be aware of this huge increase (from 9000 bht to 16000bht) in just a few short months, the 9000 was the quote made by Onmyway about 6 months ago.

So its back to the drawing board for me in my accomodation search for my next 1 month vacation in April and any recommendations particulary in this area would truly be appreciated.

Details about "Lilo Lils" and the new place next door to Lloydies would be good.,also any details on the Stereo Lounge and the Jade Mansions round the corner on Soi bukhaew. Thanks guys

I went to Soi LK Metro today & had a look at the rooms at Cock & Bull restaurant/apartment

Rooms looked OK aircon & ceiling fan in room, small balcony, cable TV, hotwater, fridge

I was unable to get a rate as the woman there was unsure

I am after a place to stay on my next holiday which is mid Feb

I will go back tonight & see the "boss" his name is Bill & I will get some rates then

The reason I picked out this place was it is at the end on a dead end street & "should" be a bit quieter of a night with less street noise.

I will let you know what I find out for rates in April

They have a website but was unable to get it to open

do a search, i stayed and did a review with pics and details on here....and, whatever you are quoted now will change before April, the place is for sale with two agents right now. Whatever you will be told won't be valid later

Since they accuse the website host of not updating the rates there seems little point in following that particular route.

Maybe beeter to check the price for high season and ask when low season kicks in.

Then make a low seaon booking, if the price is right.
