Accomadation for first timer to Pattaya

Hi folks. Can anyone reccomend a reasonable place to stay for a single first timer male (39yrs) to Pattaya and Thailand. Budget around 1000-1500 Baht. Thinking about staying 2-3 weeks in March/early April 2006. Main requirements are gay friendly with no issues over guests and in room safe. Dont want to rough it but dont need luxurious place as hey you only sleep in room.

why not try mr macs hotel in south pattaya.

on the road headin towards jomtien.

nice place has all u are lookin for well within budget.

gay friendly. hotel has mix of people gay/straight

You might want to try penthouse hotel Go for the cheap room $22 a nite although right over the go-go. You can hear the thumping of the bass but you get used to it. I have stayed there twice and never had a problem. The best thing about it is its close to all the action and there is never any problem with guests.
