does anyone know if thai have finished refitting their 747 fleet on the lhr-bkk route

It shouldn't make the slightest bit of difference in economy since all that is happening is new seat covers and new carpets. The refit in F and C class isn't retro style.

as usual what i write isn't exactly what i mean should have omitted the retro

although with everything else being retro these days perhaps there's a market for all those old style seats to be sold back to the airlines!!?

however i digress as i'm recovering from a dvt and the company saw fit to give me a nice fat xmas bonus i thought that i might treat myself to a roomy seat & was therefore indeed after info on first or business class seats
